Last month, the School held an inaugural Alumni New Year Virtual Networking event online for the alumni community to celebrate the new year of 2021.

Hosted by Professor TAM Kar Yan, Dean of HKUST Business School, 150 alumni, faculty members, and executive committee members from student clubs enjoyed a wonderful two-hour networking and celebration event filled with delightful conversations and fun games, followed by an exciting lucky draw featuring gifts sponsored by companies of the alumni community. 

To create a more personal online networking experience, the event was held via an interactive web-based platform, where participants could engage in themed small group conversations.

The event brought together alumni from different graduation years and programs and areas of expertise, including venture capital, innovation, entrepreneurship, finance, marketing, and wellness.
