[eNews] Kellogg-HKUST Executive MBA Students and Faculty Respond to Disruption Challenges

Kellogg-HKUST Executive MBA is well-known for its global classroom with highly regarded faculty from two partner schools.  As a result of the COVID-19 outbreak, many operations in Hong Kong, including our teaching activities, have been disrupted. However, in early February, the Kellogg-HKUST Executive MBA Program adapted to flexible learning modes to maintain regular classes, including those conducted by faculty at Kellogg, where students continued learning on campus or remotely online.

Although Professor Harry KRAEMER from the Kellogg School of Management was unable to travel to Hong Kong, he was sincerely committed to deliver his class online from Chicago. Despite the time difference, Professor Kraemer successfully conducted his class as scheduled without affecting class interaction by staying up late at night. Students who were unable to travel to Hong Kong arranged a mini-class reunion in Singapore to accompany each other during class times. All things considered, the program has received encouraging feedback from students as they eagerly continue their online learning experience.
